MOST Cooperation presented MOST150 for implementation in tomorrow's car models
The MOST Cooperation hosted the 9th MOST Interconnectivity Conference Asia on November 5th, 2008. At the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul, South Korea, representatives of the MOST Cooperation presented to over 150 attendees of Asian carmakers and their suppliers an update on recent achievements of the organization and the MOST standardization roadmap.Successful Exhibit of MOST Cooperation at SAE Convergence 2008
The MOST Cooperation exhibited at the Society of Automotive Engineering's (SAE) Convergence show in Detroit, Michigan, USA. MOST50 and MOST150 demonstrations were shown at booth 913 on October 20 to 22, 2008, in the Cobo Center with various representatives of member companies hosting the MOST Cooperation booth. Over 140 attendees came together for the first MOST Forum on September 30, 2008, in Stuttgart (Germany) to learn about the latest applications and future trends of MOST infotainment technology. "We are very pleased with the broad International audience of MOST Cooperation members and non-members coming from Asia, Europe and the United States", states Dr. Wolfgang Bott, Technical Coordinator of the MOST Cooperation. The broad audience included researchers, designers, engineers, system developers, as well as purchasers, journalists, and managers of the industries involved. The members of the MOST Cooperation got together in Frankfurt (Germany) on March 11th, 2008, to hold their tenth annualAll Members Meeting. The international members of the organization include the 16 leading carmakers and 78 of their premier suppliers. "Within only 10 years MOST has been accepted as the de-facto standard for multimedia and infotainment networking in the automotive industry. It is now implemented in over 55 different car models worldwide, including the first Asian models from Toyota and Hyundai/Kia. Today, within a decade after the first sketch of the MOST ring structure, the third generation of the infotainment backbone is already defined. At 150 Mbps, it is 6 times faster than the original 25Mbps data rate and is adapted to the bandwidth requirements of various carmakers."
